Recent progress of the study on silver photo-diffusion into amorphous chalcogenides, Y. Sakaguchi (CROSS) et al.
Neutron reflectometry is a powerful technique to elucidate the kinetics of silver photo-diffusion into amorphous chalcogenide, by demonstrating how the reaction layer changes in the depth direction with the light illumination time. We review our recent works on the neutron reflectivity of Ag/amorphous germanium sulfide in the first half of the presentation. In the latter half of the presentation, we report our recent works on the X-ray photoemission spectroscopy and X-ray Absorption Fine Structure of the Ag/GeS2, which can provide the atomistic explanation on the nanoscopic reaction layer development obtained from the neutron reflectivity.
